Electrolysis

We listened to our customers and we are now pleased to announce that we now offer Electrolysis treatments at Accent.

What is electrolysis hair removal?

Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face or body. Today's medical electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair with chemical or heat energy. After a very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle, the hair is removed with tweezers.

Is electrolysis permanent hair removal?

Unlike other hair removal options, professionally performed electrolysis eliminates unwanted hair, permanently, with unsurpassed results. Moreover, it does so for the largest variety of skin and hair types.

Does hair grow back after electrolysis?

Treated hair will grow back weaker and less coarse at first, and after subsequent treatments and eventually will not grow back at all. Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal method.

What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?

The main difference between laser hair removal and the traditional method known as electrolysis, is that lasers can treat multiple hair follicles at one time, no longer requiring the need to identify and probe each individual hair follicle, as is done with electrolysis.

How long are the treatment sessions?

Electrolysis usually ranges from 15 minutes to 1 hour. Treatments usually are in increments of 15 minutes.
